Uthyrning i andra hand av bostadsrätt

Sorry I have to write in English, because I don't speak Swedish. I have an issue with my Bostadsratt. I bought a small apartment recently for my parents, who are supposed to join me in Malmö. (They are from Shanghai China.) But they are still waiting for their visa, which will take maybe another 6 months. And in the mean time, I have a Danish colleague who needs a place to stay for a couple of months. So I rented my empty apartment to him, without asking for permission from the Stylersen. (very stupid of me) Now the Stylersen fount out and wants me to get rid of the guest immediately. It's not a problem, because he is about to move out in a few days. But the Stylersen is also trying to stop my membership and force me to sell the apartment. Is there any way I can keep the apartment?

Dear Sir or Madam, The law of interest in this matter is called bostadsrättslagen. According to the seventh chapter § 18 the board (styrelsen) is entitled to void your membership and force you to move because of such an act. However, according to § 20 same chapter you do have the right to stay if you take immediate take action upon the boards notice and cease the illicit hire out. From what i understand you are ready to do this. Therefore, you should be alright. Good luck Best regards,
